ISKCON Temple Ujjain

ISKCON Temple is a stunning temple situated in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, 5 km from Ujjain Junction. It is one of the well-known ISKCON temples in India and one of the well-known temples in Ujjain, and it is located close to Nandkheda Bus Stand.

ISCKON Temple, also known as Radha Madhana Mohan Temple, is a gorgeous marble temple that was inaugurated in 2006. Since Maharishi Sandipani is thought to have educated Krishna, Balaram, and Sudama in this city, this temple holds great significance for devotees of Krishna. The ISKCON organization’s and Ujjain’s sole totally solar-powered temple.
The idols of Radha Madhana Mohan, Lord Krishna and Radha with Gopis, and Sri Gauri Nitai are housed in the temple’s three sanctum sanctorum. The temple also features lovely Tulsi gardens, a profusion of flowerbeds, and sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses. Throughout the day, one can hear constant music and Hare Krishna, Hare Rama Dhun singing. The temple complex also includes a goshala, accommodation for residents, an office, and the Brahma Chari Ashram.
Every day, the priests offer the gods six aartis. One of the major holidays celebrated here is Janmashtami, which includes food sacrifices, prayers, and hymns. The other holidays are Gopastami, Radhastami, Rathyatra, and Guru Purnima.

Ujjain is a railway station on the Western Railway zone. Its code is UJN. Trains are available for many big cities.

Through Road

Regular bus services connect Ujjain with Indore, Bhopal, Ratlam, Gwalior, Mandu, Dhar, Kota and Omkareshwar, etc. Roads connect Ujjain with Ahmedabad (402 kms), Bhopal (183 kms), Bombay (655 kms), Delhi (774 kms), Gwalior (451 kms), Indore (53 kms) and Khajuraho (570 kms) etc.
